Comment by solitha Update: The dungeon quest items do drop in BfA, even from normal-mode trash. You don't even have to loot; they appear in your inventory and you get a loot banner. Comment by Entimidator I haven't seen this posted anywhere else but from my experience once you turn in the Darkmoon Faire artifact quests, you can no longer loot the artifacts. Tested this through two characters. First character I ran a couple of times the day before DMF was available.
As long as I emptied my bags of the Darkmoon Faire artifacts, the next dungeon would reward more artifacts. Second character did not have a Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide in his inventory. So, I went to DMF to acquire one. After turning in the artifacts and acquiring the book I ran a dungeon and got zero artifacts.

I'd agree if it was animated, i. Helm and cape appearing on your person out of nowhere is rather a small RP element in my opinion. I doubt the reason was to anger RP players.
